Sam Anders

Today I learned that both Battlestar Galactica and Clarissa Explains It All include characters named "Sam Anders." How could this be? Though Sam Anders isn't the most unique name out there, it's also not the most common. Could it be that the (re)makers of Battlestar Galactica were really, secretly fans of the Melissa Joan Hart teen classic? If only Clarissa was around, to explain this strange and miraculous "coincidence."

    There was a dude on Pushing Up Daisies named Wilfred Woodruff - not quite Wilford, but what are the chances of that? Probably too big to be a coincidence, actually.

    @Hailey. I also loved Clarissa Explains It All. When I was reading the wikipedia page last night I learned it is going to begin showing again on Teen Nick. Now if only I had TV channels to watch it.

    @John, yeah that's definitely too random to be a coincidence.
